How to choose a 5.1 audio system?

Given: PC with discrete audio soundblaster z.
Purpose: to pick up a 5.1 audio system within 10-15k rubles.
At the moment, I’m considering edifier c6xd as the main option, but the reviews about clicks and the lack of 5.1 when connected via optics scare me.
In general, not a big specialist in acoustics, I don’t know all the subtleties. From the criteria - a pleasant 5.1 and definitely not naked speakers (there are cats at home)
