How to check real hardware installed on macbook?

When buying a used macbook, you need to check what hardware is installed in it. As far as I know, the specification displayed in "About this mac" can be faked by software. Question: how and how can you find out exactly what kind of stuffing is in a laptop?

Googling on the topic of lshw analogues for OSx suggests the system_profiler and sysctl utilities. But there is nothing to check now.

Try through the lspci terminal, before that update the info - sudo update-pciids; you can also see it like this - lshw, you can see dmidecode like this.
