How to check laptop RAM for a short circuit?

The laptop was filled with liquid. When the question arose of replacing components, it became interesting, but is it necessary to change the RAM sticks? I'm afraid to insert into another laptop, because it can short-circuit and break a working laptop (or not?) I'm new to this business. Question, is it possible to check the RAM for a short circuit with a multimeter and how?

In my experience, there were flooded laptops, netbooks, but there were no short circuits on RAM or similar MSs. I think that there is no short circuit there, you can check it, find the pinout of the die
