I was looking at a chromebook recently, though I haven't bought it yet. I considered the option with Toshiba 13 'with a full HD IPS screen. On Amazon, this costs about 350-400 bucks. You know, I tried to install only Ubuntu twice, everything seemed to be stable and so on. Now I’m a little confused, I’m in the mood ... but every time I understood that there were crutches and problems.
As a result, I'm sitting on Win7, and for the development of VirtualBox, it's already anything.
And on the topic - Samsung rv520, all equipment got up without problems. The logic is this, look at laptops a year or two older than the current version of Ubuntu, then the chance for normal firewood increases dramatically.
