Should I go for an internship in a logistics company?

I was invited for an internship as a programmer at CDEK. Is it worth going to a company whose development is not the main profile?

To evaluate a potential employer, there is a wonderful Joel Test . At the interview, ask the employer about each item. In my opinion, 11 and 12 are rather important for your leaders and insignificant for you. But without which I would not recommend getting a job - these are 1, 4, 5, 7, 8.
By the way, in general, I recommend reading about employment in IT here: https://itunion.info/
Actually, Joel Test :

  1. Do you use source control?
  2. Can you make a build in one step?
  3. Do you make daily builds?
  4. Do you have a bug database?
  5. Do you fix bugs before writing new code?
  6. Do you have an up-to-date schedule?
  7. Do you have a spec?
  8. Do programmers have quiet working conditions?
  9. Do you use the best tools money can buy?
  10. Do you have testers?
  11. Do new candidates write code during their interview?
  12. Do you do hallway usability testing?

logistics in Russia is one of the worst in the world, a field for automation and optimization for a thousand programmers a year.

Try it, they seem to have an IT department.
