How to check if ffmpeg-php works correctly?

Faced the following problem: installed ffmpeg-php extension on the server, made a script for video conversion. Noscript does not work out anything in the logs, errors like:

PHP Warning:  ffmpeg_movie::__construct(): Can't open movie file

Please help me check if it works correctly.

how did you install it?

It's most likely a codec issue.
I advise you not to install the module, but to assemble a separate binary with everything you need, and use it.
