Why does the X server lag?

Hello.
Yesterday I collected a new config for i5-6600 and installed arch. It came to the installation of X. Installed xorg and try to run startx.
Swearing at the absence of xinitrc and xrerm, installed the missing components and try to start again. The screen, as it were, with braking, is loaded from top to bottom. If necessary, I will try to shoot a video of the loading screen. I'll drop any logs.
I will be grateful for advice.

Are the video drivers installed?
From the arch wiki:

For the driver to work on the new Intel Skylake (6th gen.) GPUs, i915.preliminary_hw_support=1 must be added to your boot parameters.
