How to check 5.1 acoustics on a laptop's built-in, where there is only one 3.5-jack output?

With me only a laptop with one 3.5 jack for ears / microphone. Due to covid-19, USB audio equipment remained at the other end of the country, there is no way to pick it up now. I can not buy a new usb-zvukovuhu either. However, we managed to catch on Avito suitable 5.1 acoustics.
The acoustics have 3 inputs 3.5 jack - front green, rear black and center / sub orange.
How can you now fully check it when buying, having only the above-mentioned laptop in your hands? If you alternately connect the inputs of the front-rear-center acoustics to the laptop socket 3.5, then the corresponding speakers should sound? That is, separately, I can check them all, together with the subwoofer, in this way?

Yes, separate pairs of speakers should sound in turn. It is possible that the laptop will not be able to properly swing the sub, however, there will be at least some sound from it.
