How to change the repository setting in GitHub?

Hello dear friends!
Created my first repository, uploaded my Java project to it. Here's what I see:

I didn't specify anything, but for some reason the github decided that my project was in JS. Or does this inscription mean something else? In short, how to change this status to Java, if it means the language in which the project is written in the repository, or what does this status mean?

To determine the language used in each file, the Linguist library is used. You can help recognize the programming language correctly
using the .gitattributes file or Vim/Emacs-style settings:
