GitHub pages: pushed, the project structure has changed, but the old version is loaded. Why?

I changed the structure of the landing page , the index and all the contents went to the internal build folder, removed the index from the root . Committed, pushed , files were indexed, changes were accepted.
I go to my GitHub page, look at the structure, the changes have arrived , I see a new tree . I'm trying to open index on a new link - I'm catching 404 . I go to the old link , the site opens . But according to this link, the index file cannot lie, I deleted it. I also look through the inspector, I see that this is an old version, there are not enough new tags. What's happening?

Upd: deleted everything, re-uploaded, earned the correct link.
