How to change the path of the Program Files folder?

Hello! Colleagues, I have such a problem, I wanted to install WINDOWS-7 on "C", and all additional programs on "D". Changed the path of the PROGRAM FILES folder in the registry and the properties of MY DOCUMENTS and Temp.
After changing the paths, the player and standard programs stopped working. And when I install a new program, the default is set to "D" and some files on "C" are thrown off during installation. After installation, the shortcuts do not work, you need to go to the root of the "D" program and copy the shortcut from there, otherwise it will not start.
Who knows how you can change the installation paths so that when you install only on "D" they are installed and the norms are launched. Is this even possible?

Is this even possible?
Maybe. In theory.
In practice, it is so difficult, and causes so many problems, that it is pointless to do it.
Yes, and to imagine why it is necessary is quite difficult.
