I'm trying to install the axis, but the image remains on the screen of the laptop.
I want to use the laptop as a home server for tests.
You can somehow, through the BIOS, maybe change the purpose of the main monitor.
I install ubuntu server.

Physically disconnect the laptop screen from the motherboard, and then the image will be displayed by default on an external monitor.

No way it will work. When you connect a monitor - the main screen turns off only after loading Windows.
The only option is if you set the main screen by default in the BIOS - the monitor, but this is not possible everywhere ... good luck)))
