How to change search in windows 10?

Previously, on my top ten, I opened the start menu, when I clicked on the letters on the keyboard, I had a search inside this start menu (I could just pull the found icon to the desktop). Now I reinstalled Windows and it has become a little different for me (MB mikrasofty even released). So now when I open the start and enter what I want to find, the start closes and the search window opens from which it is impossible to pull the shortcuts found. Tell me how to enable the ability to pull a shortcut or how to make a search inside the menu

Slightly irrelevant to this issue, but:
you can put ClassicShell, the search works there as you described, plus it becomes functionally similar to w7 start.
