How to change passwords on FreeBSD?

There is a server on Hetzner, FreeBSD costs. You need to change the password to the server via SSH. passwd outputs the following:
passwd: pam_chauthtok(): conversation failure

Boot into a virtual machine in Frenzy, create a left account with the desired password, copy the string with the password from master.passwd and paste it in place of the password on the remote server (vipw).
