How to set up shared folders (VM Ware) for FreeBSD 10?

I made a FreeBSD virtual machine and connected shared folders (VM Ware), after settings in VM Ware the /mnt folder in the virtual machine remains empty.
Apparently, FreeBSD has something special.) How to configure it correctly?

Firstly, VMWare :) "respect for the correct terminology meant respect for the subject of study..." (C) Kir Bulychev "Thirteen years of travel".
Secondly? Have you installed VMWare Tools? As far as I remember, vmware stopped compiling vmware tools for FreeBSD since version 6.x and how they manage now - I don't know, moved away from the FreeBSD mainstream a couple of years ago. There is Openvm-tools, I don’t know if it’s true in the ports or not.
