How to "change" installed nvidia driver version?

I ran into a problem, the software during startup requires the installed nvidia driver version 430.86 or higher, but for my video card (750M) - the latest official driver 425.31. I tried to install the required driver manually, bypassing the nvidia recommendations - during the installation a message popped up saying that the device is not supported. I tried to manually enter the id of my video card into the installer's inf file: as a result, the installation goes to the end, but in the installation report "graphic adapter: Failed", in general, this method did not help either.

Maybe it's possible to somehow correct the version of the installed driver? Through the registry, for example, rename my valid 425.31 to 430.86?
