How to change context menu expansion behavior in Windows 8.1?

I installed Windows 8.1, it's annoying that the context menu in Windows now opens a little differently. Namely: before, the cursor was always in the upper left corner when opening the context menu window (Windows 7, for example), and now this corner has become the upper right.
For clarity: the position of the cursor when opening the context menu
- blue Windows 7
- red Windows 8.1

How in Windows 8.1 to make the behavior like in Windows 7?

as far as I remember, the position should depend on the distance to the edge of the screen, if the menu fits on the right, it is displayed as in w7, if not, then it’s different

I had blue as it was and remained. Am I doing something wrong?)
