How to cancel the password request for a network folder?
There are several PCs on the home network. The computer (Win8) has a shared CD/DVD drive. I try to connect to it from another PC (Win10) and I get a request for credentials (login and password). But password access is disabled, all other PCs connect to the shared drive without problems: all phones, laptops & etc do not ask for a password. The PCs are in the same workgroup.
What can be done.

recreated the working group on all devices on the network, now the ball can even see the TV.
In the advanced settings of the network control center, turn off "sharing with password protection"
try to see if anything extra is saved when accessing a PC with password protection.
start - run - cmd
write command: rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr
This window will open
Find address and delete.
--------------
If this does not help, then try elementarily when prompted for a login and password to enter:
login: anonymous
password: guest
usually works.
