How to calibrate the screen off sensor on Lenovo A750?

I will state the essence of the problem: during a conversation, the phone screen does not always turn off. The screen off sensor does not work, so all sorts of accidental presses constantly occur with dialing numbers, setting the call on hold, and turning off the microphone. They suggested that the sensor might be badly calibrated.
In general, did anyone have something similar on other android phones, not necessarily lenovo.

I found DHD Proximity Sensor Recalibrator, but it says that the kernel is not supported :(
