How to burn a movie to a flash drive in Kubuntu?

Hello. From Kubuntu I format the flash drive in FAT32, I record a movie. If the movie is long (even about 1 GB), it takes a very long time to record. This is one of the problems.
But there is another problem, not related to speed.
I tried to download a short video (~25Mb) from YouTube and write it to a USB flash drive. It was recorded quickly, but on TV when I watch from this flash drive, the video either does not start at all, or it cuts off in the middle and moves on to the next file.
I'm trying to record through Windows 7 on VirtualBox, everything is recorded normally and the issue is being processed.
I also tried to format the flash drive in Ext4, in the hope that maybe the TV supports this file system. But when writing, it gives out the lack of rights. Tried googling the command line, didn't help much.
It seems like such a simple operation, but it doesn't work.
Who faced this and how to solve it?

There was a response from one user. His answer helped me, I went to vote, but for some reason the answer disappeared. I'll write down the answer and my thoughts from memory.
1) To make the speed higher, try using flash drives with a higher speed. In my case, this is not suitable, since it writes faster from windows.
2) Ubuntu badly determines the end of the file recording, so you need to focus on the blinking of the flash drive light. Roughly speaking, after the file is written to 100%, you need to wait about 5 minutes (if there is no light on the flash drive). This advice helped me.
3) (from myself) After writing to the flash drive, I check the checksum of the file on the hard drive and flash drive. It seems to work.
In general, after I began to wait for time after writing to a flash drive, and also fix the result by checking the checksum, movies and cartoons began to open and play normally on the TV from a flash drive.
