How to build relationships with business partners?

I work with a programmer.... (I'm a web designer)
How they worked on the project.... so he writes and calls every day. please do it quickly, you need to do it qualitatively.
And when they finished, they all passed. Don't rush with money. no longer writes, does not call .. like I don’t need it anymore.
Do I need such a partner? I want to work with reliable .. he will give the money, but here's the attitude ...

In any business and partnership, only one rule works. The more pieces of paper, the cleaner the ass. Always set deadlines for when you must pay, when you must turn in, how much time and edits can be made, etc. It is necessary to agree in advance on paper, or at least in writing through the mail.

So isn't he reliable? He will give money. And the attitude is not reliability, but comfort.
Now seriously: if he delays payments and you don’t like it, tell him about it. Will not listen, then why are you so uncomfortable?

Silent - it means everything is arranged in your work. I would write - it means alterations, claims.
The delivery of the project, especially after the design, there is still a lot to do in order for the project to go to the customer and get money from him - this is a very long time.
Some are simply organically unable to say "sorry, friend, we have to wait" and prefer to remain silent , but this is not a fact that the money will not be returned when the customer pays.

I want to work with reliable .. he will give money
Judging by the text, you are sure that the person is reliable - since you write that he will give the money back.

have your own opinion and a clear idea of what you want from the business and do not trust anyone, build relationships with your partner based on this.
