How to build a controlled audio system for the office?

Good afternoon dear readers.
There was a following task. Build an audio system in the office from built-in speakers spaced throughout the area. The main task is the ability to control (broadcasting from a microphone, radio, audio player, turning it off, feeding different music to different speakers, etc.) There are heaps of professional systems with mixers, amplifiers, consoles, etc. But they cost a fair amount of money.
The columns themselves are not a problem to find, but how to manage them? In theory, I would like it to be some kind of adapter to which all the speakers are connected, and it, in turn, is connected to a PC (most likely a network interface) from which the control takes place.
Of course, it would be best to use speakers that can immediately be connected to a local network and controlled using a software controller (I didn’t find anything adequate on the Internet)
I ask anyone who has similar knowledge and solutions to share. I will be grateful.
P.S. I don’t understand audio systems at all (well, except for rough physics, of course)

I believe that you will not find 100% ready-made solutions, either inexpensive home wi-fi 5.1, or, as you already wrote, prof, for a considerable amount.
Any wi-fi column will be tied to some kind of software that has already been written, but since it was written for it :) it will not work immediately with 10th, from the options it will open the protocol by which the exchange takes place and write something of your own. About speakers over LAN honestly have not heard.
If the office is large, then, in theory, the price should not be an issue, and then you need to start from the tasks. If you need to play music (which would not illusory infuriate me in the office), this is one complex, if it is voice, then it can be cheaper.

Sonos. Easier, more elegant, more comfortable and more stable than ever. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.
