I have a problem in Excel 2007 out of the blue: the drop-down menu disappeared when inserting text data. This little drop-down menu opened an import wizard where you could select data separators.
Plz tell me how to get it back? I didn’t do anything, I didn’t even restart Excel, it just disappeared, and that’s it ...

The solution is this: in the Excel settings, you need to check the box "Display the paste options menu"
In my case, for some reason, the checkbox disappeared there.
