How to build an excel function to count working days?

Hello!
Please advise how to build an Excel function for counting working days?
I tried NETWORKDAYS, but the output is completely different from what I expected ..
The idea is this: in cell A1 I put the current date, in cell B1 I put the number of calendar days in cell C1 - the number of WORKING days is displayed, and below the check Number I enter working days, and the number of calendar days is displayed to me.
