How to break connections in transmission in rate limiting mode?

In the Transmission torrent client, the speed limit mode is set for the evening (0 kb for download and upload). However, the connections are not broken. For example, if before this mode was enabled, there were downloads from 5 sources, then after enabling the restriction, these 5 connections remain active, but downloading from them stops. How can I completely disconnect connections on a schedule?
