How to become a successful hacker/programmer?

Good day, dear users of the site!
Briefly about me:
Mikhail ,
14 years old ,
Kharkiv
What I would like to ask experienced people:
Since childhood, I loved the computer and everything connected with it, and when they asked me who I want to become, I was very confused ... After a little thought, I immediately said PROGRAMMER!
At this time, I am preparing to enter a technical school to teach the basics and prepare for the institute (if necessary).
Recently, on one of the usual days, I was lying on the bed leafing through the news on VK, and then a post caught my eye where a little bit about the "coolest" hackers was told, and I thought why shouldn't I become the same?
But one question arose before me: "Why are they doing this and what will it give me?"
The answer was pretty obvious: they (hackers) do not wish harm to anyone, they will not destroy a single soul, all they want is to be unique, discover the world and show what an ordinary person is capable of.
After that, I entered a query into Google: "How to become a hacker?"
Having stumbled upon a large text, I read it to the end and understood for sure that I may have a penchant for this.
Why did I write all this? I am just a student who needs to know a lot and it will not be easy, but I have a creative unpredictable mindset, I love to communicate with people and will respect anyone who will help me on this long journey, become a "mentor" so to speak, or at least advise literature in this direction.
Do I have a future in programming and hacking? Will someone help me or will I learn everything myself? Please give me your opinion, I will accept everything. )

if by a hacker you mean to be a criminal, then you know they are imprisoned for this)
if by this you mean a professional who knows his business very well,
then it’s better not to muddy the waters for a long time, I’ll answer right away
> Do I have a future in programming
) if you do this long and hard enough
PS Hacker is an outdated and vague concept, don't say hacker
PSS Type in Google

Learn something about encryption, algorithms. Then exploits, viruses, dorks, injections... Write your own worm.
Look for virus software on the sites, study it. Write the same. Go to the school website, try to identify xss. If you find it, set your own server with a sniffer, and use Charles to embed some image in html that sends you logs.
Even worse? Then try to make your own build. Your level will rise. By learning Kali Linux, you will achieve something more than a banal implementation. And so, you merge the Google base ...

Cool hackers are all fiction of journalists. Usually these are the simplest guys who are interested in the hacking process, among them there are many criminals who are then put in jail, because. many of them steal money from people from cards or in some other way deceive for money, i.e. scammers.
The Criminal Code (articles for illegal access to ...
Among programmers, those who make everyday work easier are most respected - that is, the same programmers who have done something useful and put it in public access, for example, the gnu / linux operating system is a free operating system a system that is often used for hosting sites, etc. The author of Linux - Linus Torvalds is a much more respected person than scammers who steal money from plastic cards.
It is better to become an IT engineer - a programmer or an administrator, or choose something else that is more interesting, because. this is a specialty with which you will have the opportunity to earn a lifetime and do what you love.
If by hackers we mean those who hack something somewhere, then there is not such a high demand for such work - people who know how to create, and not hack, are much more needed. The difference is about 1000 to 1. Of course, such specialists are also respected, but the market demand for them is lower and such people are very rare. For example , the Russian hacker Yegor Khomyakov .
Because If you have a dream of becoming a programmer, then it is advisable to start with books and it is very good that you decided to enter the programmer - a technical school / university gives some kind of knowledge base and a diploma with which it is easier to find a job.
If you have a lot of time and you are interested in programming, then I advise you to read books on the topic of algorithms and data structures.
Of course, you can choose python or PHP from the languages, but I'm not sure that you will use it in the future, but it will do for a start. You can start right away with Java - it's not as difficult as it seems, but then it's easier to find a job.
Look at what books advise on python, PHP or Java (depending on which language you like to write in) and calmly learn algorithms and data structures and implement them in this language.
The largest number of vacancies at the moment is related to web programming. I don't know if you like it or not, but you can try. Those. after learning a programming language, you can look at HTML, CSS, Javascript and web frameworks for a particular language.

Install the Jabber client - Pidgin. Register on any Jabb server, not ru. For example, xmpp.jp, set OTR, enable it in plugins in Pidgin. Write to me in jabbu [email protected]
Wangyu that 80% of the words that I wrote are not clear to you. There is google.com for this, if you cannot search Google for the necessary information, then you will never become a very good programmer and hacker until you learn how to do this. For in these kinds of activity one must look for a lot, a lot.
When you write to me in Jabber, we'll talk, I'll throw you in the right direction so that you don't become a lamer and a script kiddis.

There are white hackers, specialists in information security are also engaged in hacking, but legally and for good money!
Dig in this direction! (They are also divided into finding a vulnerability - "hacking" sites is more in demand and programs (games)).
As for websites / online services
- the most vulnerable is "sql injection" (you need to know sql, mysql, http protocol)
- In second place is "XSS" (you need to know html, Java Script, http protocol
) uni. (for a programmer for free to enter there are no special problems systematically, the current for the ZNO task is being prepared) (what the hell is that technical school for you)

All the adults who are sitting here, they will not understand you, since you are a "teapot", a "schoolboy". They, instead of recommending something, they will laugh because you are a "schoolboy". I'm your age, but I'm not a hacker, I'm a web developer (not a teapot). I recommend JUST READ (watch) 1000 articles, videos, etc. on the topic of a hacker. Otherwise, no way, but first of all, take care of anonymity.

Once you decide to become a hacker, look at House of Cards, although the series is not about that, but one such is shown there is very interesting. Although a bit cinematic, it conveys the essence well.
vocational school? Are you confident in your mental abilities? You can't become a hacker without brains. I would finish school and go to MEPhI for design bureaus, for example. Why do you need college?
"they (hackers) do not wish harm to anyone, they will not destroy a single soul"
You, apparently, have not seen cases when a user opens a harmless file, not even an executable, and after a few minutes all the files on his computer are encrypted, and so decrypt, you need to send a hacker a tidy sum?
Do you see lizard squad and other ddos-ers as V of our time from the movie "V for Vendetta"?

Quite an interesting question. I read all the answers to it, but I did not see the main thing in my opinion ...
In order to become a successful programmer, you need not only knowledge, but first of all experience.
Knowledge and experience are the two main components of success for a programmer. You can study for years, but never apply your knowledge anywhere.
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a sysadmin, not only because I liked using a computer, but mainly because I thought sysadmins did not have to work very hard at work. Accordingly, after the 9th grade, I went to the SibGUTI college for the specialty "Automated Control Systems and Information Processing" or ACS. The only cooler specialty was "safety". So, for all the time in college, I didn’t learn anything - it’s too easy there, and all the knowledge gained there in IT cannot be put into practice. Therefore, I still advise you not to go for a specialized secondary, but to go straight to the university .
Due to my laziness, I started earning by development too late - at the age of 18, 3 years ago. It was spontaneous and started from the bottom. Once a friend just told me "let's make up websites" and immediately gave me a job. Learned the basics of HTML and CSS in a week. JS at the jQuery level and using plugins - another week. I quickly got bored with it and began to develop towards front-end development, gradually moving away from layout. In parallel, other programming languages were mastered. That's all I mean, the main thing is to start gaining experience on real projects.
Otherwise, from my own experience, I can say the following:
For successful work in this area, graduating from a university is not necessary, but it does not hurt.
You can start working right now through freelancing, the easiest way is with web development.

It seems to me that another very important point is knowledge of English at the level of viewing on a tube or reading lectures, lessons, manuals, etc.

First of all, you need to decide what you want to hack ...
There is a lot of material on the Internet, a lot of rubbish is a slave to it!
Detailed instructions on "how to hack the Pentagon" no one will tell you for sure.
A lot of useful information can be found on the overbawer1 channel or read the article here
