How to backup virtual machines?
Here such a fakap happened with virtual machines...
On important (for me) projects, I backup databases, bitbucket code (they didn’t throw me slippers), and regular backup is included for such virtual machines.
But there are also a lot of sites, over the personal backup of which I am too lazy to mess around. Yes, and suddenly there was a distrust of backups from hosters.
What is the easiest way to back up the entire virtual machine, so that if something happens, there will be a copy that can be deployed from another host? In theory, if I take and archive absolutely all the data from /, and then unpack it to another vps with the same OS, should it still work?
