How to avoid duplicate content when using wordpress tag archives?

Hello! SEO advice needed regarding use of WP post sorting by categories and tags (tags).
There is an information site on CMS Wordpress, the subject is car repair.
The url structure is as follows:
for a category of articles - https://domain/slug-categories/
for tags - https://domain/tags/slug-tags
for a specific article - https://domain/slug-articles

Main categories (headings) - this is the repair of trucks, repair of VAZ, repair of foreign cars, body repair. Labels (tags) are used as a grouping of cars by make and model, as well as smaller repair specifications. For example: KAMAZ, VAZ-2101, engine repair, brake system repair and so on.
The method of such partitioning should be convenient for the user in finding the necessary information. It is planned to add a search with sorting results by categories and tags. The navigation menu is also built around the main categories.
The task is not to harm the site in terms of SEO optimization.
Category and tag pages have their own title and description, as well as an h1 heading.
The main page of the site displays all entries. The category displays entries that narrow the coverage of articles to a specific category, and there is also a grouping of entries by tags, which should group articles into even smaller topics.
It turns out that the same article can be presented on the main page, category archive and tag archive. From the point of view of the search engine, as I understand it, this is not very good, since this is a duplication of the same content.
The site uses the SEO by Yoast plugin.
Wordpress and SEO experts ask for your advice regarding this situation.

Hello!
I'm not an SEO expert, but the answer is very simple. Use canonical. In theory, Yoast SEO adds canonical itself, but you can also rewrite it. you can also close all unnecessary links through nofollow.

If you want these tags and categories to rank, add a unique description to them, and do not display snippets from posts there. If you don't want to, then just close them from indexing. There are many ways to do this.
