How to avoid conversion into rubles when receiving funds in USD?

Paypal received funds in USD . When viewing invoices, the following amounts are displayed:

  1. non-zero account balance in RUB
  2. 0 in USD account
  3. The total amount in USD is non-zero.

The total amount in USD is different from the amount of the payment received (in USD ), as I understand it, due to double conversion.
Two currencies are specified in the account settings: USD as the main one and RUB .
Questions:
1) Have the funds really been converted into rubles or is it just a presentation of data on the site?
2) Is it possible to ensure that the money falls into the account in USD and does not go through a double conversion?
3) Is it possible to remove the RUB currency , keeping in mind that you will have to make purchases in rubles? What amount will fall on the account in USD : original or double-converted?
Thanks

@rkjey46

if the money came to usd, they cannot be converted twice
if the account is not verified, the bucks will be converted into rubles
if the account is verified, then the bucks will remain in bucks
about verification and auto-conversion there is an excellent article I have on habré.
