Different roles have been created, each role has its own coupon, which works automatically, which gives an additional discount.
BUT! how to make an automatic change of the client's role (transition to a level with a higher discount) when the client reaches, for example, the amount N in 365 days? And vice versa, automatic role change in case the turnover has not been gained, for the role which has a smaller discount?

Break the task into subtasks. At first make so that you could automatically change roles of the user.
Then make some kind of trigger or do a check every time you receive the order amount.
