How to automatically backup an external HDD in OS X?

There is an external HDD Seagate Slim, STCD500204. It has working files. I need them every day, both at work and at home. I can't use cloud sync from home to work for a number of reasons. The question arose of backing up these files on a home computer, since there is a possibility of losing, breaking, etc. carrier.
I really want to find the possibility of automatic backup when connecting the HDD to a home computer. Ideally - to the cloud, even better - with the function of adding modified files (that is, like Google Drive, Yandex disk, etc.). Mac at home and at work.

add it to the TimeCapsule synchronization list and you will be happy. At the same time, backup both to yourself and to icloud, which means you can open it at work.

Use backup from backblaze.com

I could be wrong, but it seems that CronoSync was able to launch tasks by events.
Alternatively, write a simple bash script that mounts the cloud system and rsyncs into it.
