How to automate the creation of components in Figma?
Situation: I bought a huge pack of icons (over a thousand pieces). Each icon is stored in a separate SVG file. Each file has the following device: an invisible frame 24x24px (which for some reason is placed inside a group consisting of this frame alone), and a group of vector objects - in fact, the icon itself.
I would like to automate a simple process:
0) I transfer all svg files at once into a figma (well, or in bursts of several tens/hundreds, if the figma can’t handle it)
1) Next, each icon is first converted into a component
2) Then invisible vectors inside each component are deleted
3) Finally, the visible vectors within each component are ungrouped and collapsed into a single vector object.
4) Super-task - vectors are assigned constraints with values center and center.
What to do?
