Recently I came across such an interesting phenomenon as a colored icon in Yandex mail.

Frankly speaking, I thought that this was possible only through the traffic rules.Yandex and only if the letter was sent manually from this mail. That is, only as an "avatar". But, as it turned out, there is some other way.
I wrote to Yandex technical support - I did not receive an answer, "Ok, Google" did not help either. Maybe you know something about it?

I could be wrong, but this is probably the favicon of the domain.
