How to assign a dedicated IP to a virtual machine?
Actually there is a VDS with a white IP address on win serv 2008. A virtual machine is raised on it via WMware with an axis from Bitrix (centOS). It is not possible to register a white IP address for her. With the default settings (for nat), everything is OK - there is an Internet, but when I set up a bridge connection, and in the centOS settings I prescribe a static IP address, then the reaction is zero.
There is an idea to hide the virtual machine behind the nat, and add an additional server to the server. redirect the IP address and all requests for it to the virtual machine, but this is already like a plan B)

If it is a bridge, then the host and the virtual machine must have different IPs, i.e. you need to remove the white IP from vds (prescribe another one).
Most likely you don't have two ips issued, so you're doing the impossible if you need internet on both machines. Do nat.
