How to arrange folders and images on the server?
Hello everybody! Such a problem, I'm making my own informational site. Asked a question of an arrangement of files on the server. I have a root index.php and along with it are folders of styles, fonts, js and a little more little things. The question is... how to arrange the pages? Let's say there are six items on the menu, for example, humor, auto, etc. When you click on the menu item, we get to a certain section of the site where the articles go in order in a summary, and after selecting the article, we get to the page with the article. I did this - in the root of the site there is a folder called Category, where folders with each menu item are stored, and in them there are folders with each section article. It turns out some tremendous nesting. How is it organized correctly? If for each article there are images, then where should they be posted? In a separate folder with the article?
I'm trying to pull the layout on Wordpress now - and it turns out a quiet horror. If you need to look, then here is the address, www.rayoflife.ru , but it has not been completed. Thank you all in advance!

store the articles in the database, in the same place the paths to the pictures, which are stored in one folder
or
include(news/interval($_GET['id_news']).".php") each news in a separate file
is called index.php?id_news= 10 this will open news/10.php
later this can be hidden in httpaccess /news/10
