How to arrange blocks so that they evenly fit into the block, and occupy the entire width of the parent?

I'm struggling with this and can't figure out how to do it. First, I inserted the first picture (which is on the left), fit in, well. Then I put the 2nd picture (which is the bottom right one), but it does not fit. Does not take up the entire width and height that I need, so to speak, does not take up the width of the parent. So what do you need to write in HTML/CSS? Thanks in advance for your help kind people.
