How to apply SQL scripts with Russian characters in Win installer?
I am writing an installer (Wix installer). During the installation phase, Wix runs SQL scripts to create a database and populate it with default values. The SQL scripts themselves are saved in UTF-8 without BOM encoding, the scripts contain Russian characters. The problem is that after the installation is done, the database (MS SQL) stores data with an unreadable curve encoding. If you run these scripts without an installer, then the data is successfully written in normal encoding
