How to always have high-speed Internet with you?

I have an iPhone 5 and a MacBook Pro and have to beg for Wi-Fi. And especially now, in the summer, I would like to be able to do my business from anywhere in the city.
I thought about:
1) Put an operator in the iPhone that gives 3G. It turned out that ordinary GSM operators do not provide 3G, but there is some kind of muddy 3Mob, which I could not even find a technical support phone on the website to call and find out everything. Who used it, what will they say?
2) Take a USB 3G modem-"flash drive". It solves the problem of the Internet only for the MacBook, therefore it does not fit. + I do not want to constantly poke it into USB.
3) Take a portable router on a battery, which will take the Internet from the card of some operator and give it to me in the form of personal Wi-Fi. An interesting option. Stops some misunderstanding what I need to do. Select a device and select an operator and combine one with the other, but then some stupor begins.
How did you decide and how would you advise me to solve this issue?

I have the 3rd option. Modem/router D-Link DWR-730. It’s hard to find it on sale here, I bought it in Asia. Eats any Sims. I traveled half of Russia with the MTS-sim card with the Internet. You lie in a tent in the asshole of the world and watch the series online. =)
There seem to be some analogues on the Russian market, but I have not studied this issue. So offhand, I would now take this one: NETGEAR AC785. Although it is a bit pricey, the features are good. The ability to connect external antennas is especially tasty, which, for example, would be very useful for me when traveling.

I put the mob into the iPhone 3 and have been happy for over a year now, using it just like any other operator. Tethering works. In the absence of 3G coverage, roaming via Kyivstar is activated.
