How to add many to many relationship in strapi?

Maybe there is someone who uses strapi?

It seems like a simple question, but I still can't find an answer to it.
There are two entities - chat and user. One user can be in many chats, there are many users in a chat. Many-to-many.

It turns out that the chat has a users field - an array of users.

Is it possible to somehow change the composition of these users using strapi itself? Update the list of users with full array replacement does not work. :(

How can I solve this problem?
