How to add an interactive 3D object to the site?

I was very impressed with the use of interactive 3D objects when designing the site, for example:

As far as I understand, you need to work with WebGL using the Three.js or Babylon.js libraries.
I also met the recommendations of the blend4web framework.

Previously, I did not intersect with such technology, so I would like to consult with experienced comrades - to choose the optimal library / framework and learn about the pitfalls on various devices / browsers.

At the moment I'm leaning towards Three.js.
I will be glad to any comment and thoughts under such task.
Personal experience and links to proven manuals (ru\eng) are welcome :)
