How to add an extension to Asterisk+FreePBX using a script?

There is a bunch of the last Asterisk + FreePBX, you need to add extension.
Empirically found out that you can edit files:

cd /etc/asterisk:

pjsip.auth.conf
pjsip.aor.conf
pjsip.endpoint.conf
extensions_additional.conf

But in this case, the following problem arises:
I added an extension with id 88and alias through the script new88user, if I go under it, I can call others, but others cannot call me + when asterisk is rebooted, everything disappears.
What am I doing wrong? In which direction to dig? Googling didn't help find solutions.

It makes no sense to edit configs directly - after restarting FreePBX, everything will be lost for you. configs are generated based on data from MySQL. The correct way is through api, not very correct (but quite working) - through adding records directly to mysql, there is nothing particularly complicated there, you can figure it out in a couple of hours.
