How to add a domain to a domain controller?

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. The question arose about accessing the site from the company's internal network, using the same domain that is used for external connection. I created a com domain zone and placed a domain name in it, which turns out to belong to this zone. It turns out that when the user enters example.com, he must also be checked by the domain controller? I can’t understand why it doesn’t work
. I added a domain to the zone and registered the address, but something doesn’t work as I would like

The issue of resolving DNS records has nothing to do with the Domain Controller.
The entries must be created on the servers that are specified in the DNS settings of the TCPIP protocol servers of the NICs of the clients to which you want to apply this change.
And whether this service is located on a domain controller or not is another matter.

And why do you need to intercept the entire .com zone?) Are you looking for something to do with the DNS, so as not to be idle?))
Create a zone named after your site - example.com. And create an A-record with an empty name and specify the desired address.
