How to achieve good sound on a Windows PC?
For some time I used MacBook Air 2015 paired with the Boom 2 enhancer. The sound (in music) was just excellent, the program wound it up so that the result seemed unreal.
I tried to do something similar on my Windows PC - installed Boom 3D. The result is, but not the same as on a laptop. Plus, when the equalizer was working, the work of the limiter in Windows (probably it) became a little noticeable.
Actually the question arose, how to get the same sound?
I understand you need a sound card, but which one?
I heard a lot of good things about the Creative Sound BlasterX G6, but I won’t pull it in the near future.
Is there any point in cheaper cards (such as Creative Sound Blaster Z or something else in this category) or is it still worth looking at the segment around the G6?
Maybe there will be recommendations for models?
The main goal, I repeat, is to get the same cool sound as it was on the macbook + Boom 2.
