How to access Remote Desktop Gateway on Windows 10?
There is a deployed terminal server farm (RDSH) on Win2012R2 and there is a server with Remote Desktop Gateway (RDG) through which external users connect. Everything worked like clockwork for a long time, but recently there was a problem with external Windows 10 clients - they cannot connect via RDG. I began to understand, it turned out that requests come from them to the address https://RDGServerName/remotedesktopgateway/ , and all other clients, when connected, turn to the address https://RDGServerName/rpc/ I remember that there was a similar problem with MacOS clients.
There is no /remotedesktopgateway folder in the IIS console on the server, but there is /rpc/, so I decided to just put IIS URL Rewrite and redirect all requests to /rpc/, but it seems that the pathhttps://RDGServerName/remotedesktopgateway/ somewhere systemically wired, because the redirect rule does not work, and it is enough to change the link to http or remove one letter and the rule works. Also, when accessing this link, a certificate is not given, chrome writes ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
And in the IIS logs, not a single request to https://RDGServerName/remotedesktopgateway/ is visible. It seems that the request goes somewhere else.
