How should I use a torrent client if my computer has an SSD?

Why can't I install a torrent client and download files on an SSD? What happens to the SSD if, say, I download a movie and then upload it to an external HDD?

Nothing will happen, forget about the myths about the wear of SSD cells during home use. This is hundreds of terabytes to write to a normal SSD.
The truth is not entirely clear why to download there if you throw it. Not easier immediately on the HDD?
I did not disable any swaps and caches, I use torrent, virtual machines and much more, everyone has been alive for several years.
But make backups, at least of important data, of course (regardless of the type of media), because no one has canceled other reasons for the failure.

ssd has a limited data write cycle, and why use ssd for torrent if the disk speed is enough for this

In µTorrent, it seems that nothing else needs to be done, it already has diskio.coalesce_writes = true and diskio.coalesce_write_size = 2 MB. If the SSD cell size is larger, increase accordingly.
