How rufus works. Or similar for linux?
Previously, I used the Rufus program ( https://rufus.akeo.ie)
to record linux distributions .
And all because if I write the image through something else, I can’t boot from it.
Although on a newer PC everything loads perfectly through any scribbler.
I tried to write via dd, LiLi, even tried to install the bootloader (roughly) on a USB flash drive and make it multiboot and many other ways, I can boot from them on a new PC, but not on an old one ...
But now I need to roll CENTOS onto the old PC . And there is no Windows nearby to write the image with Rufus...
// By the way, I remember when I launched Rufus for the first time and wrote the image, he said that there was some version of syslinux in the image, but what was missing and he pulled it from the Internet .
Are there any equivalents for linux? (launch through Vine does not roll). Or how to roll the image so that it boots?
