How relevant is learning Node.js?

Hello!
I am a novice coder, in principle I can use npm a little and I use gallp for learning. But subtracted, to become a good front, you need to know at least a minimum of nodejs.
So the question is, how relevant will the study of the node from these sources be:

  1. https://www.ozon.ru/context/detail/id/137410108/
  2. learn.javascript.ru/screencast/nodejs

To understand the basics at least.

To become a good front, you need to know a minimum of JS. And Node JS will follow it.
Cantor's screencast is outdated unless the releases are overdubbed (The releases were recorded for Node 0.10.)
The book, in principle, too :)
Better look for something fresher on YouTube. According to Node JS [+ Express] there is a lot of everything. From the last normal thing that flashed in subscriptions:

In this context, the implication seems to be that you will be using Node as a tool for front -end development automation . gulp, etc.
And if server development was meant, then the front has nothing to do with it, this is already a full stack. What is in demand.

Only server languages: php, python. The second is preferred.

To be a good front-end, you need to be proficient in front-end development technologies, and nodejs has nothing to do with it, since it is a server-side development technology.
To do this, master JavaScript, programming patterns on it, it’s very good to know AngularJS, and jquery will not hurt.
As for the books, the first book is very good, but it's not very suitable for beginners, IMHO.
