How old is ASP.NET MVC 4?

Should I learn MVC 4 when there are newer MVC 5 and ASP.NET Core , or should I jump straight to these technologies ?
There is more material on MVC 4 in Russian, but you can also read about new products in English.

you can go through the vacancies and see the
5th in few places where
the 4th is quite mature. Moreover, there are a lot of vacancies for existing projects - hardly anyone will transfer them to 5 (well, why?)
It is important to understand that the release of a new version does not guarantee the total migration of developers and projects (example: python 3, which was released in 2008 and where is he?)
And, ultimately, the experience with ASP.NET, MVC, .NET, JS, etc. is more important.

ASP.NET Core is quite conceptually rewritten, and projects on MVC4 will not be dragged to the new technology right off the bat. Both must be taught, since it is not clear what will be supported in the work. May knowledge of WebForms come in handy
