How not to use remote network gateway in OpenVPN/L2TP?
How can I connect to a local network without using a remote gateway? Those. you need to connect to the local network via OpenVPN or L2TP / IPsec and make sure that the user uses the Internet connection from his provider, and not from the gateway of the remote network.
I am considering the work of Pritunl or SoftEther, but I can not understand which setting is responsible for this.

In the pritunl interface, this is done by removing network 0.0.0.0/0 from the routes of the created network. Get a VPN limited only by the local area it creates.
This happens by default, except for traffic for the remote network - https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/document...
I did once like this:
We cling to the Windows client via L2TP, the checkbox "use the gateway on the remote network is disabled."
We install the RIP listener in Windows, it almost comes in the kit, just check the box.
On the router with RIP, we give the networks we need to the remote client.
