How not to lose a cat in the country?

Last summer, our cat left the site and did not return. Searched wandered, did not find. They brought a cat, soon sawing at the dacha, I don’t know what to do. The past one refused to sit on a leash, he strutted about the site importantly. I'm afraid of a repeat of the situation :) Maybe someone has an idea to hook something on the cat's collar and then track it using gps?
I saw solutions like this on ebay , but something is not at all budgetary :( Yes, and the cat will still be smaller, it is unlikely that it will carry it.
ps Not taking a cat is not an option, we spend most of the summer with the whole family in nature

1. Steel wire at a good height on the diagonal section. A leash made of thick fishing line is attached to it on a ring. to the collar, plus provide a soft rubber band. so that there is a constant light tension. and Voila did not test, but the campaign should not be strangled and should not feel embarrassment either.
2. Trim claws (slightly) and hack all exits and loopholes around the perimeter and ways to climb over the fence.
3. Spread one corner of the valerian. You won’t lose yours, because it won’t be torn off from the corner, and your cat won’t be bored from the presence of a hundred pieces of cats within a radius of 2 meters)
4. Scatter a bunch of balls, fake mice and packages of whiskey all over the site. She will never run away.
Well, I won’t offer a trench 2 meters wide around the perimeter and filled with water and kerosene ... I think you yourself have already guessed it.
No no, healthy.

A cat that loves its owners is not going anywhere. Unless something bad happens to her. But in any case, it is better to give the cat a piece of freedom. That's why she's a cat.
But some steps can be taken. Put on a cat anti-flea collar and write down a contact phone number on it. You can also chip (implant an identification chip under the scruff of the neck), but in the Russian Federation, chips rarely seem to be checked.

Or maybe make a nano-technological device and attach a cat to a GLONASS receiver/transmitter?
It won't go far for sure.

bell.
In general, with a cat ... are you ready to feed the kittens later?

I would actually advise you to limit the cat's movement outside the territory, because. the reason for the loss of the cat is most likely not that he got lost somewhere and lost his way
home the outcome is greater if the cat is spayed.

But this one suits the price? 50 grams for a cat, I think it will be normal and small in size

A minimum of "preparation": put a bright collar on the cat, on which to write down the number of your mobile phone.
And don't be too surprised if the cat returns this year. My cat disappeared in the country for two years, then materialized.

Confused with the same question. I have a cat. He will not leave his own, of course, but I would like to find him without any problems on occasion.
